IDPOST.CO.ID – After receiving a free verdict from the Blitar District Court, Samsudin Jadab alias Gus Samsudin immediately bought his wife a car.

The defendant in the cult video case that allowed the exchange of couples bought his wife a Honda Mobilio car.

Not only 1 car, Samsudin bought 2 Honda Mobilio cars for his two wives.

From the video shared by the TikTok account @putramandirimobil Samsudin bought a car for his first wife, a white Honda Mobilio.

Meanwhile, for wife number 2, the couple’s exchange defendant bought a Honda Mobilio car in the color of Honda modern steel metallic.

Each car by Gus Samsudin was endorsed with the words “Thank you for my wife,” he wrote.

“I Love You. May you always be happy and be a good and solehah wife and mother.”

Gus Samsudin and his two followers were found not guilty of committing a criminal offense as charged by the prosecutor.

“The defendant Samsudin is not proven guilty legally and convincingly of committing a criminal offense as attempted in the entire indictment,” said Blitar District Court (PN) Judge Arif Kurniawan, Monday, July 29, 2024.

It should be noted, Samsudin was sentenced by the public prosecutor to 2 years and 6 months in prison with a fine of Rp. 5 million and a subsidiary of 3 months confinement.

Meanwhile, two of his subordinates were prosecuted more lightly, namely 1 year and 6 months in prison.

Previously, Samsudin and his two subordinates had to face the law after uploading a video about a cult that allowed followers to exchange partners.

Investigators from the East Java Police’s Subdit V Siber Ditreskrimsus also named Samsudin as a suspect after his video went viral.

Samsudin was charged with Articles 28 paragraph (2) and paragraph (3) of Law (UU) number 1 of 2024 concerning the Second Amendment to Law number 11 of 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions (ITE).

Article 28 paragraph (2) concerning the spread of ethnic, religious, racial and intergroup hatred. Meanwhile, Article 28 paragraph (3) concerning violations of spreading false information that causes riots.
